The spirit of the sleeping garden

... arrived in my mailbox last week.

A surprise "Winter gift" sent from my younger sister, who lives in Washington, in the mountains and woods outside of Seattle, who is a natural artist and craftswoman. She wrote, "I think of her as the spirit of the sleeping garden - waiting for spring." Aren't we all! I wish my photography skills would do justice to the gentle blues and greys in the wool and the sweet bead antennae. (I'll change out the photo if I can get a better one.)
Thank you, Karen!

Hi Anna,
Thanks for leaving the nice comment! I'm always surprised when someone actually takes the time to tell me they've read a post. I am guilty of reading and not posting comments on other blogs, and I should develop the habit of leaving a comment.
Still learning....

Hi Nancy,
Yes, she is. My photo doesn't do her justice, but I plan to get my old camera out of the closet and try again. I followed the link to your nice gardening blog - in Texas - and I must tell you I am having fresh tomato envy.
