Communion with her visible forms, she speaks

Have you ever heard of the quote called, "Garden Gossip" I've been searching and searching for it...It's great! I saw it once at a nursery on a super expensive piece of granite. I should've written it down. Also I have a pic. of a big purple puff ball flower on my blog and looking for an identification of it. Any help would be sooo greatly appreciated! :)Wishing for Spring!

I can't recall seeing that quote, but I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I run across it ... I write notes to myself too. The little voice in my head (don't worry, there's only one) thinks it promotes lazy thinking. But one problem I have with writing down everything I want to recall, is that I'm overwhelmed with all of these thirty or so years worth of notes on everything. Many indecipherable.
If it's not an allium of some sort, my next best guess is maybe a agapanthus? Is it Michigan-hardy?
