Better sooner than later, this name is all mine! A busy Saturday, going to walk around in Lansing today. I thought I'd post this photo that I took a few days ago of Jeffersonia diphyla. Not an herb (we should discuss that word), but sometimes the usefulness of a plant is in its symbolism. The symbolism of Jeffersonia would be in the name: named after one of the best presidents ever, and a TRUE hero, Thomas Jefferson.
