I am going to get bees this April! When I read that you werent getting bees because of the cost, I knew I had to tell you this... beekeeping doesn't have to be costly! Take a look at www.biobees.com! Theres a hive that is called the Top Bar Hive. It's very simple to make and very cheap. You can even use wood from pallets! You don't need extractors, foundation, frames, or even brood boxes!
